Common questions
Short, honest answers.
What does DoppelBrain actually do?
DoppelBrain remembers what you read online. It also remembers your chats with AI helpers like ChatGPT. It tidies things up by topic on its own. Later, you can find anything in plain English. Even months down the road.
How do I set it up?
Sign up with your email. Add DoppelBrain to Chrome in one click. That's it. From then on, the things you read are quietly remembered. You don't need to tag, file, or organize a thing.
How does it work with ChatGPT or Claude?
Open your dashboard. There's a one-click setup for ChatGPT, Claude, and others. Once connected, they use what you've already read. You get better, more personal answers. No more repeating your background story.
Where is my information kept and is it safe?
It's stored in a secure, encrypted account only you can access. Every connection uses the same kind of encryption your bank uses. No one else can read it. Not even the team at DoppelBrain.
Is my reading used to train AI?
No. Never. What you read is yours. We don't train AI on it. We don't share it. We don't sell it.
Can I delete everything if I want to leave?
Yes, any time. One click in your dashboard wipes it all. You can also download a copy first if you'd like. We don't keep hidden copies.
Do I have to organize or tag things myself?
Not at all. DoppelBrain groups your reading by topic on its own. No folders to manage. Nothing for you to file. Just read the way you always have.
Can it suggest things to read or check out next?
Yes. DoppelBrain learns what you care about. It can suggest articles, sites, and even places to go that match your interests. You stay in control. It's just a friendly nudge, never spam.
How much does it cost?
DoppelBrain is free during Beta. No credit card needed. We'll tell you before that changes. Beta users get a nice discount on any paid plan.
How is this different from saving bookmarks?
A bookmark only saves the link. DoppelBrain remembers what was actually inside the article. You can search by what it was about, even if you forget the website. It also remembers your AI chats. Bookmarks can't do that.
Can I search my reading history in plain English?
Yes. Type something like "that article about better sleep" and DoppelBrain finds it. You also get a short summary. Ask follow-up questions too. It answers in plain English with the original article attached.
Will ChatGPT or Claude remember our past conversations?
Normally they forget the moment you close the chat. Connect them to DoppelBrain and they can look back at past conversations. They pick up where you left off. It's the simplest way to give them a real memory.
Stop losing the things
you've already read.
