    DoppelBrain Connect

    Give any AI agent long-term memory. Connect your personal knowledge base to ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or any MCP-compatible client and recall anything you've browsed.

    Open your plugins

    Go to chatgpt.com/plugins and click Create MCP App. There is no Developer Mode to turn on, and you do not need a paid plan.

    Fill in the form

    Name it DoppelBrain, describe it however you like, paste the server URL below, and pick OAuth for authentication.

    Agree and create

    Tick the box that says you understand, then click Create.

    Sign in

    A window opens for you to sign in to DoppelBrain. That is what gives ChatGPT access to your memory.

    Available MCP Tools

    Once connected, your AI gets access to three knowledge tools. Each returns markdown with page titles, URLs, dates, and content excerpts ranked by relevance.

    Before you start

    Requirements & Authentication

    A DoppelBrain account ( sign up free)
    Chrome extension installed and active

    OAuth 2.1: no API keys to manage

    Browser-based clients (ChatGPT, Claude Desktop): sign in once via Authorization Code + PKCE.
    Terminal clients (Claude Code, OpenClaw): enter a one-time code via Device Authorization.

    Tokens refresh automatically. No re-authentication unless you revoke access.
