    DoppelBrain Connect

    Give any AI agent long-term memory. Connect your personal knowledge base to ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or any MCP-compatible client and recall anything you've browsed.

    Enable Developer Mode

    In ChatGPT, go to Settings > Apps > Advanced settings and toggle on Developer Mode. Requires ChatGPT Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, or Edu.

    Add the MCP server

    Click Create app and paste the DoppelBrain MCP server URL:

    Sign in

    A browser window will open automatically. Sign in with your DoppelBrain email and password to authorize ChatGPT to access your knowledge base.

    Available MCP Tools

    Once connected, your AI gets access to three knowledge tools. Each returns markdown with page titles, URLs, dates, and content excerpts ranked by relevance.

    Before you start

    Requirements & Authentication

    A DoppelBrain account ( sign up free)
    Chrome extension installed and active

    OAuth 2.1: no API keys to manage

    Browser-based clients (ChatGPT, Claude Desktop): sign in once via Authorization Code + PKCE.
    Terminal clients (Claude Code, OpenClaw): enter a one-time code via Device Authorization.

    Tokens refresh automatically. No re-authentication unless you revoke access.
