DoppelBrain is a personal knowledge base built from your browsing and AI chats. A lightweight Chrome extension captures what you read, and your AI assistants connect via the Model Context Protocol (MCP) so every model already has your context.
Why we built this
Knowledge workers read a lot and remember a fraction of it. Articles, docs, papers, tweets, AI chats. They live in tabs, bookmarks, and scrollbacks for a day, then disappear into the noise. Every new AI chat starts from zero.
DoppelBrain sits between your browser and your AI assistants as a long-term memory layer. A lightweight Chrome extension captures what you read and the AI chats you have, organizes everything into topics automatically, and makes it available to ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, and any MCP client on demand. You stop re-explaining yourself. Your AI starts with your full context.
How we think about privacy
- Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. All connections are HTTPS only.
- Your data is never used to train any AI model, ours or anyone else's.
- DoppelBrain is GDPR compliant. You can export or permanently delete every record from your account at any time from the dashboard, with no hidden copies left behind.
- We are pursuing SOC 2 Type II certification. Enterprise-grade security controls are already in place.
